Here at Comedyville, one of Montreal’s premier venues for live stand-up comedy, we proudly present Jay Hunter – Live in Montreal, returning for a special Saturday night show on July 11 at Comedyville / Estrella Resto Bar Comedy Club (1165 St-Laurent Blvd), inside Le 1 René-Lévesque Hotel, right at the entrance of Downtown Montreal’s historic Chinatown.
Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Jay Hunter brings a comedy style that is both sharply clever and effortlessly relatable. Before stepping into stand-up, Jay served as a U.S. Navy Nuclear Electronics Technician, basically a real-life Homer Simpson working on an aircraft carrier. The result is a smart, refreshingly goofy perspective on everyday life, relationships, work, travel, and the general absurdity of being human.
Jay’s comedy blends dry wit, laid-back charisma, and sharp observations that sneak up on you and hit when you least expect them. His delivery is natural, authentic, and effortlessly funny.
